Things to do in the Buena Vista area.
We are ideally situated to enjoy the outdoor activities of Central Colorado. We are on the
Colorado Trail, midway between Buena Vista and Cottonwood pass. We have National Forest in
front and back of our house, just walk out the door and keep going. Thousands of visitors raft
down the Arkansas each summer. Old Harvard City Riding Stable is next door offering horse
rides through the mountains. A wide variety of fishing opportunities abound. County Road 306
closes in the winter and the snowmobiles take over. There are many snowmobile trails just
above our house.
