Mule Deer are frequent visitors.  Here are a couple of bucks behind the house and a doe looking in the
front basement window.
A herd of Big Horn
Sheep are frequently
seen on CR 306
about a mile below
the cabin.

We normally see Elk
as they move from
the high country to
the valley in the fall
and back to the high
country in the spring.

We occasionally
have white Mountain
goats across the
canyon on Sheep
Mountain, but they
usually stay above
Cottonwood Lake
We have dozens of
humming birds
during the summer.
We keep six feeders
out and have to fill
them once or twice
each day.  We used
200 lbs. of sugar
last summer.  Late in
the evening, it's a
regular feeding
frenzy.
Cottonwood lake is
three miles up this
road from the
house.  The road
follows South
Cottonwood Creek.
The lake is stocked
and a great place to
fish for trout.
